Follow up to Jacob's Trouble 4 Oct 2006 This follow up to the prophetic word about Jacob's Trouble is a reminder to not compromise with sin. In the word about Jacob's Trouble, deliverance in personal lives was connected to the current state of Israel. A part of this analogy to remind those people in need of deliverance to not compromise with sin. Recently, Israel has attempted to compromise with sin. There are enemies who seek to destroy the people of Israel and the covenant that God made with them. God promised the land of Israel to His covenant people. While trying to find the easy way to peace, the people of Israel have compromised with the people that are determined to destroy them. While there is relative calm right now, the compromise will only result in a more trouble in the near future for the people of Israel. The time of Jacob's Trouble is just beginning. Do not be deceived by the calm and appearance of peace. As it is with Israel, so it is with those who are seeking deliverance from the bondages that have sought to destroy your peace. The process of deliverance can be difficult with much hard work. It can even be painful for some, but this pain is a part of the process. If you can endure the pain now, you will find yourself arriving at a place of freedom in the near future. Some of you for whom the deliverance was promised have compromised with sin in order to ease the pain and difficulty of the deliverance from the strongholds in your life that hold you in bondage. While there appears to be relative calm right now, your deliverance is not complete if you compromised with sin. Renounce that sin. Repent! You shall have the victory! Do not quit the race until after you cross the finish line. The promise for deliverance still stands. If you compromise with sin, it will only bring greater trouble to you in the long run. Do not be deceived. The enemy is deceptive, and he wants to see you destroyed. Submit to God and see your deliverance.
